The reason that the gay rights movement succeeded was that men and women were simply asking to be allowed to love and marry who they wanted. There was no sensible argument against this. They weren’t demanding rights over how other people lived or what they perceived as real or that children should be medicated to be gay. The whole ‘trans rights’ movement is founded on compelling other people to deny their own reality which is why it will and must fail. It is not about ‘rights’ at all.
