Today the Governor will sign the the law I sponsored that WILL ALLOW A PERSON TO OBTAIN A PROTECTIVE ORDER even if there was no prior relationship. Finally strangers cannot use a loophole in the law. A young woman told me her story and now the legislature responded 👍
