Why the @ASCAtweets Board of Directors? For me, it was about giving back to the school counseling profession. ASCA ensures all members have the tools needed to create equitable opportunities and inclusive environments for ALL students. I am proud to serve on the Board.

It has been the greatest honor and a privilege to serve alongside other passionate school counselors on the Board of Directors for the past three years. I encourage everyone to consider running!

ASCA is the organization to help school counselors in their efforts to ensure the success of all students. ASCA provides the tools to help school counselors develop a comprehensive school counseling program in their school. ASCA advocates for us, as we advocate for our students.

I found a home within my local, state and national school counseling associations. The support, professional development, and encouragement I have received over the years from these organizations, has made me a better school counselor.
