Should a relationship be 50/50? Women pay invisible costs just to exist. Yes, some are choices, but most men rarely even think about them. The cost of ageing. Men become “silver foxes”. Women are told to fight wrinkles, avoid grey hair, and somehow stop time itself. Botox, fillers, lasers, skincare, cosmetic surgery, hair colour. It adds up. The cost of motherhood. Taking years out of the workforce impacts earnings, career growth, and retirement. I was lucky I owned my own business and had time with my babies early on, but childcare, nannies, and career pauses still come at a cost, especially for stay at home mums. Healthcare costs. Hormones, contraception, feminine hygiene products, pregnancy, menopause. Being female literally costs more. Safety costs. This is a BIG one. Uber instead of walking at night. Taxi instead of public transport. Paying more to live in safer areas or buildings. Men rarely have to think about these daily calculations. Beauty costs. Some of this is choice, but nails, hair, skincare, makeup, and beauty treatments are constantly reinforced by societal expectations while pretending it’s all “optional”. So still think relationships should always be 50/50? Maybe ask whether life has ever actually been 50/50 to begin with 😅🤔

That was actually the point, not sure if you are being sarcastic Not that women should be “paid for existing”, but that there are invisible costs and pressures women carry that people often ignore when talking about strict 50/50 dynamics, I have never looked for a man to pay for me, I can do that myself, but if a MAN asks me to dinner, why am I paying 50% when he asked me...

I think you are missing what is happening - we used to hear governments hate crypto... But they've realised they can’t stop it… so now they want inside the system. Why? Because if money stays outside banks, they can’t fully track it, tax it, monitor it, or control the systems it moves through. The moment banks open to crypto, the game changes: • KYC • reporting • taxation • transaction visibility • programmable finance People thought crypto would destroy the old system. The old system adapted instead. This is the scary part... History repeating - and the lesson: Governments rarely destroy what they can regulate and profit from. 👀
