BREAKING: I am surrendering to the Australian courts and will serve prison time for the crime of holding a blank sign outside the Chinese Consulate. The Brisbane City Council threatened to have me imprisoned for contempt of court charges because I don’t have the money to pay a $23,000 fine for holding a blank sign outside the Chinese Consulate. Rather than raise money to pay the fine, I have decided to accept imprisonment as a matter of principle. I regard the fine as so outrageously unjust that I simply cannot in good conscience comply with the court order. I have written to authorities to inform them that I will peacefully surrender and accept arrest and imprisonment for contempt of court on August 6th rather than pay the $23,000 fine for holding a blank sign outside the Chinese Consulate. They can make me a political prisoner in Australia, if this is what they want. I will comply fully with authorities and the court throughout this entire process as I am a law abiding, God fearing Australian citizen. I am a peaceful law abiding man peacefully practicing civil disobedience and non-compliance according to my conscience.

There is no genocide in Gaza, there is no ethnic cleansing in Gaza. Nobody likes to see the innocent killed, nobody likes to see dead children, only vile and evil people like to see that kind of suffering. But here's your blind spot.... Hamas is responsible for all of what is happening in Gaza. Innocent people are always caught up in war, innocent people always die in war, innocent people always get displaced in war. War is hell on earth. All of that is on Hamas. And that's the plain and simple truth of the matter.
