On May 31, 2014, 12-year-old Payton Leutner was lured into the woods of Waukesha, Wisconsin by her two closest friends, Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier. A t first, Leutner thought that they were all going to play an innocent game of hide-and-seek. But then, Geyser suddenly stabbed Leutner 19 times with a kitchen knife as Weier looked on. Unbeknownst to Leutner, Geyser and Weier had been planning her murder for months. Their motive was to please Slender Man, a mythical creature who had become the star of countless internet memes. But even though Leutner was left for dead in the woods, she somehow mustered enough strength to crawl toward a path, where she was able to flag down a cyclist who called 911. And despite her grave injuries, she ultimately survived the harrowing ordeal.

The feeling I have when I’m with all of my beautiful girls is truly indescribable. The amount of pure organic love is overwhelming, almost to the point of being unbearable at times. She’s so smart. She’s so kind. She’s goofy & her laughing face is imprinting & infectious. Her parents have done such an amazing job raising her! Last night, during a proactive traffic stop, a driver admitted to members that they made their child blow into the ignition interlock system installed in the vehicle. AbbyPD impounded the car and served a 90-day IRP to the driver. The MCFD was also advised. #RoadSafetyMatters

@CANADAquakes The San Andreas fault is approx 200 mile's west of Van. Island and it has small shakes every day.I was told this when I was young, I read in the newspaper that they don't think a big one is near. Don't believe everything you read.We also have two fault lines running up Georgia St
