🏆 Within the framework of its CORE programme, the @FnrLux has funded three LISER projects. 💪 These CORE projects were selected based on their innovativeness, high scientific quality and will be peer reviewed by international reviewers. The 3 awarded projects are the following: ✔️ HypeRent lead by Constance Uyttebrouck will investigate ‘hyper-commodified housing products’ (HCHPs) and contribute to understanding how and why these new #housing forms are developed and supported. ✔️ POLHOUSING lead by Guillaume Bérard will investigate the impact of housing policies in #France and #Luxembourg, focusing on tax-based interventions designed to address #housingmarket challenges such as rising prices, shortages, and vacancies. ✔️ TechnoD lead by Massimo Morelli will investigate how artificial intelligence (#AI) contributes to discrimination in hiring practices, particularly along ethnic, linguistic, and gender lines. 🔎 Learn more about the projects: liser.lu/CORE-RESULTS

Great to present in this roundtable discussion on "Bridging evidence and action: How to evaluate what works in the fight against poverty?" at the @LISERinLUX conference in Luxembourg. To accelerate progress in reducing poverty, we must focus on two key areas: 1.️Enhancing the evidence base to understand what works to reduce poverty. This requires going beyond impact evaluations to expand the set of “evidence” we rely on to inform policy (eg ex-ante evaluations, qualitative assessments, high frequency monitoring). 2.️ Supporting countries in leveraging that evidence to design and implement impactful policies. We need to ensure that evidence doesn’t just sit on a shelf, but actually drives meaningful change. Thanks to fellow panelists Justina Jakstiene, Christian Bintener, Francois Bourguignon, Herwig Immervoll and Eric Marlier for the great discussion and to Peter Lanjouw for the invitation. #EndPoverty
