@thsottiaux not sure if stable release adds much, given the cadence of updates. when we manages apache projects, we needed quarterly releases mainly to comply with the ASF asks. since codex is private, ad hoc updates is good enough!

For Codex, we’ve been thinking about keeping a stable release cadence and have a larger release each week on Thursday. That does make the start of the week and bit less exciting. Thoughts?

I'll take the other side of this. The market over-reacted. Cloudflare was a *little* over-valued at $250 but is now undervalued. There are plenty of companies that an AI-first world threatens. Most of SaaS potentially. Cloudflare isn't one of them. They are AI+Internet infra.
john kutay@JohnKutay

Telling the market you need to “restructure” for AI is effectively signaling a 50/50 bet on going to zero. Most IR teams still don’t seem to understand this.

Can we actually outsource thinking? If so, the future is dim. Honestly, I kind of like to think.

@mwseibel respectfully disagree - most airbnb we've been in are ran but cooperation/agency. it sometimes f'ed up local housing market badly. happily to see abnb get banned in cities like nyc.

Unfortunate optics for Coinbase to have an hours-long outage when customers could not trade, a few days after their CEO said how non-technical teams are shipping code to production. This outage is because Coinbase seems to have a hard dependency on AWS, and when AWS (or a part of it) is down, so is Coinbase This is a choice/tradeoff by Coinbase’s eng team.

@mwseibel to the point though - a lot of money is made from exploiting cheap people. in tech. Why do you think we have offices in euro and india? (not that i agree with AOC)
