St. Ignatius sticking around with some threes.
Still trail 47-38 to Riordan in CCS Open final.
If Riordan wins by more than 10, does SI still go Open for NorCal playoffs or would it be D1? Wildcats have a win over Clayton Valley (NCS Open finalist).

@DrNiravPandya Dr. do you think basketball players should adopt more stretching like the FIFA 11 Program and the occurence of achilles injuries would diminish?
Lots of talk about the Achilles injuries (and soft tissue injuries) impacting NBA players. Here is where I think the problem lies (it's multi-factorial) in this 🧵:
1. Youth sports / AAU basketball: This generation of players come into the league with significantly more mileage than players of generations past. Year-round AAU basketball at younger and younger ages (i.e single sport specialization) has been show to tremendously increase injury risk. Players have much more mileage on their bodies by the time they enter the league; increasing the risk of severe, soft tissue injury. If you have not read it before, read the article from @Baxter from a few years ago that captures this perfectly:

2. Increased minute density: Increased minutes / game over season averages has been show to increase injury risk:

The playoffs are set up in a way in which the stars players are playing at a higher intensity in a condensed period of time. Spacing out games could potentially alleviate this.
3. Style of play in today's NBA: The game is physically taxing in a different way than year's past. Players are significantly more explosive and agile than in the past. Larger and larger players are expected to play like guards. As a result, soft tissues are stressed unlike in year's past
Concerning the Fever vs. Sun game tonight. You know what they say l. You fight one of the Tres Leches, you gots to fight them all
And you don’t want to fuck with Sophie Cunningham, considering one of her claims to fame was she’s the youngest black belt in Missouri history
@NBAPR@NBAOfficial Heres a useless fact. Only 3 of the 12 Referees wear Lanyards with their whistles attached. A lot more Referees are starting to officiate that way outside of the College system, myself included. Well done to the 12 officials selected!

I would love to know what more Laeticia Amihere needed to do to make the GS roster.
Performed in preseason AND fits the archetype of player that an expansion franchise should be looking for
I am lost.
Lots of talk about Stephen Curry and fatigue. If you look at his average per game distance traveled over the past 5 years there has been minimal fluctuation (2.45 miles - 2.62 miles / game). Not surprising that there may be nights of fatigue at age 37. #DubNation
Question?
Is this the second-best individual performance in a CIF State boys basketball final.
Tracy Murray’s 64-point game has to be No. 1.
Aaron Gordon had some great ones too
