We are concerned that today’s announcement of means testing for #winterfuelpayment will disproportionately affect people living with #MND. Means-testing processes do not take into account the costs of living with a progressive and terminal condition like MND, so this measure means that vulnerable people will miss out on support. People living with MND are particularly vulnerable to high energy prices during the winter, due to their use of powered equipment in the home to manage their condition. The loss of #winterfuelpayment will only increase the financial pressure on people living with MND, their carers and their families.

@IlkleyChat This man is a self-serving hypocrite who has consistently towed the Tory line at the expense of his constituents. His voting history speaks volumes. Keighley didn't do its homework. Hopefully, future generations will have the ability to think critically and escape the flock.

Please read the tweet below, now explain when I was running a petition why you didn't sign the petition to get anyone diagnosed with a terminal illness automatically got their benefits fast tracked. I managed with others to get it to 12 months but that wasn't far enough
