Anyway, I just came back here to say I tried @PlaySoulframe and it's already so fun! Warframe is so good that I thought any next game would pale in comparison, but DE really knocked it out of the park with this one too. Looking forward to what's next. Bravo @sj_sinclair and team

I've spent the last few years focusing on irl stuff so I've been quiet. I have founded and am running an organization that provides food and shelter to low income and unhoused people. It's been hard to see the need increasing so rapidly, but is going well for the most part.

@Super_Crip1994 I’m torn. I agree about not making it the new easy mode argument, but I do still really wish every game had a pause button.🙈 Pause is one of the biggest features I look for before buying a game to know if it will be playable for me or not.

I am BEGGING the industry to not turn Pause Menus into the new Easy Mode Discourse. BEGGING. Nothing will change, harassment will increase, and again, there are far more pressing accessibility issues that need to be addressed

For me, celebrating the Canadian confederation overlooks the reality of how Canada became a country at the expense of Indigenous communities. Canada was founded by colonizers committing genocide. The last Canadian residential school didn’t close until 1996 when I was 7 years old.

Gaming is only a visual medium for sighted people, and only *some* sighted people at that. You game your way, that’s fine, but why try to stop other people from gaming their way?
Seems like a weird, dare I say pathetic thing to attempt to power trip about.

@victordimanet @thomasmahler Think about that for a second. Is there really a big enough of a market, for blind gamers out there? Gaming is a visual medium. You kinda need to have almost perfect vision, in order to enjoy it. It's not a passive medium, like books, music, or tv.

@Black_D_Gamer1 Half of the fun *for you* is looking at the game. For a lot of us the fun is in playing it, which means it needs to be playable. If you don’t need accessibility features just don’t turn them on.

I'm tired of these accessibility consultants using emotional manipulation, to continue grifting onto developers, so they can stay employed.

But for living people I would say probably Greta Thunberg, Malala Yousafzai, Gloria Steinem, Angela Davis, Rigoberta Menchú, Rick Hansen, & Jane Fonda are all cool people doing cool things.
