@friedberg Thank you for using this episode’s Science Corner to bring awareness to a potential cause for the colon cancer spike in young people. As always, you articulate your thoughts clearly, objectively, and instructively for those of us who want to better understand science. Appreciate you and looking forward to your contributions to PCAST.

@CB_Cotton @Tunnel2Towers Thanks for sharing. I’ve been donating $11 a month to @Tunnel2Towers for a few years now. It feels really good to do so.

Meant to share this earlier this week!
🇺🇸❤️
Frank Siller talks a lot about the power of a monthly $11 donation to @Tunnel2Towers — but tonight I got to witness how the generosity plays out firsthand. If you’re not familiar with the organization, it provides mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families and it builds specially-adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. It was so moving to see many of these families tonight; forever changed by horrific losses but forever grateful for the work of Tunnels to Towers. The freedoms we enjoy come at a high price and it’s paid for by our veterans, first responders and their families. If you can, please consider supporting Tunnels to Towers. (I donate monthly, too!)

@SahilBloom 💯My dad was my role model. I saw him tip every service worker who came to our house: “Buy yourself a cup of coffee.”

@Kristinartz Our family didn’t have the money to buy a set, but I read them in our town library. They were a treasure. Loved the photos and illustrations in the World Book.

@PaulDMauro @barbukowski Dang - that’s good playing Paul! Between your photography and musical talents displayed on this trip, I believe you have an artistic next career ahead of you! Thanks for sharing - I’ve enjoyed following you.

We passed a funky little bar called Cafe Bukowski on our last day in Rome so stopped in for a drink and they had a guitar against the wall so I helped myself. I can now say, “I played Rome.” The European Tour 2026 — double live album forthcoming. @barbukowski

@DigitalAssets @ChrisJKuiper I read this a while back. Very well researched and written.

The key question is no longer “Why bitcoin?” Instead, it’s “What is the case for zero?”
In our latest research, VP of Research @ChrisJKuiper explores how:
• Bitcoin has delivered the highest long‑term returns of any asset
• Risk‑adjusted returns have also ranked highest—despite volatility
• Even modest allocations historically changed portfolio outcomes
• Position sizing matters more than funding or rebalancing details
• 60/40 portfolios may face growing structural pressure
