Today, DG @CMuvunyi met with representatives from @CIFFchild , @NutritionIntl , and @SightandLife for the launch of the NOURISH - Nurture the ecosystems, Optimize the market, Reinforce AntenatalCare platforms, Integrate and Scale MMS and Calcium for Healthy Futures Project. The Discussions focused on strengthening maternal nutrition platforms through the integration and scale-up of Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation (#MMS) and calcium within ANC services, ensuring sustainable commodity availability, and advancing maternal and neonatal health outcomes in #Rwanda. The engagement underscored a strong, coordinated partnership to support long-term impact.

During his continued visit to China, DG Prof. @CMuvunyi met with the Zhejiang CDC team. They discussed areas of mutual interest, including integrated disease surveillance systems, effective response coordination through the PHEOC model, and potential joint research on epidemic preparedness. The Zhejiang CDC team also shared insights into their comprehensive program for the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), showcasing successful strategies and initiatives. This meeting marks an important step toward strengthening collaboration between RBC and the Zhejiang CDC.
