We always worry about the ones who find change difficult. But tonight we have a breakthrough with Lulu. She has taken herself onto the bed in the rehab caravan and she’s waiting for Muni to join her. We are definitely winning her trust and she is definitely feeling more comfortable 🛏️🐶🥰😴

🌈🌈 This morning has been a tough one as it was time to say goodnight to Triana. She was diagnosed with a tumor on her spine leaving her in pain and unable to walk. Triana came to live with us because she had been diagnosed with cancer back in 2014 and was given a short time to live. However she just went from strength to strength and here we are 12yrs later. Triana was a star on the education classes with Sam. Together they would teach the kids full of enthusiasm and love and Trianas little tail never stopped wagging. She even visited people retirement homes with Sam and made the elderly feel loved. The truth is, Sam was always Triana’s soulmate, they were always so happy to be together. This made me so happy in return. Triana was good as gold with Sam. Always prim and proper. With me she would steal the sandwich straight out of my mouth 🫣😂 and if you left anything on the side… forget it. You won’t see it again. She was a smart and cheeky girl all in one go. She had lots of furry friends and in particular it was Wiggles and Abuela that stayed by her side as she went across the rainbow bridge. She was happy to go. Hopefully waiting for her will be all the retirement dogs she said goodbye to before her. She deserved not to suffer and whilst the tears are falling I know it was the greatest gift to set her free. Big wings Triana.. big wings. We love you so much. RIP princess 💕🌈🌈

Older dog Betty was abandoned with no one coming to claim her when she found herself at the dog pound. Thanks to our loyal supporters, we were able to be there for Betty and bring her to safety. But there are still so many older dogs, just like Betty, who are being overlooked.
