I had all of my math plans ready for today..
But instead, I had a student present a Kahoot he made to the class. It was filled with funny questions and ended up taking the whole class period 🤷🏻♀️
We laughed and had fun. That mattered way more than my lesson. We needed this today.

Remember how I said grace was going to be my word for this year? Well, some days are better than others, but today I received a good reminder to remember to act on this word. Friendly reminder to all of us to act out this word even when times are tough.

This display is one of the first things I see everyday when I walk into school. What a great reminder. I know folks need it after day 1 of virtual learning. If you need to hear it again, “You got this! We got this!”
