Live today remembering God has already overcome the world depriving it of any power over you. You got this.

He crossed my mind. I didn’t want the thought to fade too quickly without gently holding it and turning it over. Then I silently prayed for him - peace, joy - a word or two to float him into the loving light. Whether he knows it or not, it counts.

Listening to frightened young voices recount the life altering witness of violent death is heartbreaking. But we must all listen. They are our children. This is our pain.
