With my phone, I registered about 10 undergraduate students for NELFUND and they were all approved to be a beneficiary. Sometimes in January 2024, I will have to spend nothing less than 4 hours inside traffic from Lekki phase 1 to Adesanya but today I have been spending less than 30 minutes. I just imagine the sudden disappearance of long queues at every fuelling station in Lagos because there's no more fuel subsidy. Billions of naira have been set aside for Nigerians in diaspora that want to buy house on mortgage without stress. The consumer credit facility is a joy giver. Students couldn't afford to buy JAMB, WAEC or NECO forms. They were the first rate-limiting step. Students dropout after SS3. Go and check the number of school dropouts after SS3 simply because University education was a dream they couldn't afford. NELFUND gives them hope. University education is still tuition free in Nigeria. There is no way you can ridicule NELFUND without sounding stupid.
