It's really disgusting to see so many people literally side with Craig Robertson. He's the man who made multiple credible threats against Joe Biden, Alvin Bragg and Kamala Harris. I hear and see so many people blaming the FBI, or asking why Kathy Griffin, Madonna and others weren't arrested. This needs to stop. People who are credible threats against other people's lives need to be arrested and thrown behind bars. We all know very well that Madonna's threat wasn't credible. People love taking it out of context though. What she said, in context, was: "Yes, I’m angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House. But I know that this won’t change anything. We cannot fall into despair. As the poet W.H. Auden once wrote, on the eve of World War II, we must love one another or die. I choose love." Kathy Griffin was wrong in doing what she did, but to claim that her threat was a credible one would be ridiculous. Was it hate speech in my opinion? Yes. Was it a credible threat? No. She literally apologized for it. In the 1969 decision in Watts v. United States, there is a significant difference between hate speech and a legitimate threat. A Kathy Giffin or Madonna prosecution would have almost instantly been thrown out in the courts. It's absolutely wrong for celebrities to make even veiled non-credible threats in my opinion though. 75-year-old men Robertson appears to have made numerous credible threats, including against the FBI. When arrested, I think it's safe to assume he tried to harm the agents (although let's wait for more information). When the FBI comes knocking, open your door. You have the right to remain silent but you don't have a right to pull a gun on them. Stop politicizing everything. If someone tries to harm the FBI, DHS, or your local police or sheriff, they will likely end up getting hurt themselves.

We will restore a threshold of integrity and civility in public life so we can bring real solutions to the challenges plaguing our nation.
