Yesterday was my final day as Chief Nurse @NNUH & I was showered with love. I tried to say goodbye to as many of you special people as I could & am sorry if I missed you. Thank you to everyone who sent messages, cards, left gifts. You are all incredible & made me proud every day.

My worst case was an older woman who kept silent about the loss of vision in her eye because she was supporting her recently bereaved daughter. She lost the vision in her second eye. I've never seen an opthalmologist move so fast to help a patient.
