lloydev.itch.io/16x16-sci-fi-c… I made some free 16x16 tiles for a jam. Get em' while they're fresh First time doing a tileset from scratch so I've still got much to improve upon.

My take on the popping off dramas TCG: Drawing your 6th prize card wins you the game, not drawing an ultra ball. popped off too early without finishing the play. The loss was deserved. Go: patiently waited until he actually won, then popped off, respectfuly. Loss not deserved

@lloydishly @thatguyinabeani There’s edge cases for everything but yeah. Bro didn’t really put the headphones in any real situation to be broken. But yeah idgaf unless you actually break it or intend to be disrespectful

@SteinebronnBen @thatguyinabeani Maybe you’re just a consequentialist and that’s fine. Nothing wrong with that. We can disagree on these things and move on If you view it as ‘no harm no foul’ that’s fine. Apologies that I do not

@SteinebronnBen @thatguyinabeani Wait so ONLY if something was broken it’d be disrespectful? Where’s the logic in that?If I toss your phone on the table and it to no fault of my own takes a nasty bounce and breaks that’d be disrespectful? But in the parallel universe where it doesn’t get dinged it’s not?

@SteinebronnBen @thatguyinabeani If I toss your phone and nothing is broken is it just totally fine? Not disrespectful in the slightest? Even if it’s just onto the table… Again focusing on the damage is weird. It’s about handling other people’s property with respect. I GET he didn’t mean it, but he did it

@SteinebronnBen @thatguyinabeani Again brother, I don’t think he deserved the punishment he got. Saying it’s 100% not disrespectful is asinine though Can you really say it’s not even a little disrespectful to whoever those headphones belong to? Not even like .0001%?

@lloydishly @thatguyinabeani Dawg the headphones still landed on HIS SIDE OF THE TABLE. Clearly he did not throw them hard or far at all. They were exactly where they woulda been if he set it down on a satin pillow

@SteinebronnBen @thatguyinabeani Agree to disagree. How hard it was is kind of subjective And thanks for mentioning it: throwing chairs at smash events IS disrespectful to the venue and organizers. I get its hype, you’re hyped but control yourselves and don’t get someone or yourself hurt. That prob deserves DQ

@lloydishly @thatguyinabeani Dawg nothing was broken he didn’t even throw them that hard at all. He just took them off and tossed them on the table. And no smash pop offs have included the chair they sit on. There’s not a single shred of genuine disrespect in that clip at all

@Jank_Geodude @NataliePokeTCG That’s fine. But expecting other people to when they don’t want to is kind of ridiculous. I mean look overseas where they often play it all the way out. She didn’t do anything wrong He barely did anything right imo

@SteinebronnBen @thatguyinabeani In smash pop offs they’re often smashing their OWN equipment… not the venues/organizers It’s disrespectful on multiple levels imo and regardless of intent or who took offense or not it IS still disrespectful. Worthy of a game loss..? Nah I don’t think so from what I’ve seen

@lloydishly @thatguyinabeani What the go guy did was literally zero disrespect at all. Cool man you threw your headphones lightly after WINNING WORLDS I’m confident the opponent took no offense. It’s diff if he picked them up and spiked them but look at any smash pop off

@lloydishly The 7 damage counter and 3 munki with dark was public information before and after the headphones throw. He not interfered with the game state. She knew that exactly state bc her boss play. The penalty was not about the game state.

For TPCi it's not rude on stream: -Hand chop gesture -Throwing cards to ur opp instead of gently play them -Slam your opp cards and throw them off the table But OMG DON'T THROW YOUR HEADPHONES, THAT'S TOO RUDE AND UNSPORTING CONDUCT, WE DON'T TOLERATE THIS, IDC GAME LOSS!

@Squid_Rowlet @thatguyinabeani I may be a bit fired up so pardon me. And again to clarify my position just to be clear again: I think firestar was unfairly punished and should’ve been awarded the win. I’m sorry that it happened to them but at least they’ve got good friends and people around them it seems :D

@lloydishly @thatguyinabeani No worries! I figured that we could have some kind of dialogue since you do not seem hostile. I know firestar personally, so I just needed to clarify some things a bit. I hope this makes sense!

@starostamp I said he ‘interfered with the game state’ not broke it entirely beyond repair I’m still looking into claims as to whether it could be reverted without the judges on scene and with the help of stream replay but that is not what my original point was, which you’ve dodged expertly

@lloydishly Judges needs deductive reasoning skill to reverse a game state, not video. After Makani throw Hphones, the game state wasn't broken. She knew that she wouldn't lose if he can't retreat. That was why she played boss to gardy. Makani shows that he can retreat. No broken game state

@Squid_Rowlet @thatguyinabeani Like if my little cousin accidentally calls me a bad word and didn’t intend to insult me, even if I didn’t take offense to it; it still is disrespectful. Again just imo, I’m open to other analysis

@Squid_Rowlet @thatguyinabeani All good. No need for an apology, we simply disagree over some silly internet stuff. Glad to hear your perspective and any reasoning behind it. Thanks for sharing. IMO regardless of intent and those affected it can STILL be disrespectful.

You even admit it yourself 😂😭 that the game WAS NOT finished. Imagine if you popped off when you have a huge lead and victory is inevitable, nay guaranteed. If you’re still mid match, tossing headphones, ruining game state (even temp) and walking away is disrespectful af
Rubén Mendoza@starostamp

@lloydishly The penalty was unsporting conduct, not damage game state. In fact, Makani didn't damage the game state. It was reversible, he came back, played the rest of the game and won.

@Jank_Geodude @NataliePokeTCG 1 she’s not required to concede. 2 he IS required to finish the actual game before popping off like that. Thats what’s disrespectful, along with the other rule breaks

@starostamp It was reversible likely because it was being streamed. I’ve seen several people claiming had it not been streamed some of the damage counters may have been difficult to reset. Regardless of the fact he broke multiple rules; it was absolutely unsportsmanlike. Games still on

@TempoPTCG @ggb_1996 @_jxndr @WS_Shinobi Their opponent didn’t concede. It wasn’t over. Doesn’t matter how simple the line was. This is like saying ‘yeah but everyone knew he was gonna score if he didn’t drop that ball and celebrate prematurely! Anyone with any football knowledge knows that’
