.@LavonteDavid54 says his Buccaneers teams were never worried about Jalen Hurts 👀
"Jalen Hurts was never a guy we worried about. Our game plan was always their offensive line, stopping the run."

Bro played 13 minutes tonight. The freshly signed rookie gets better opportunities than he has on day 1. I’m kind of over this BS until next season - head coach doesn’t like him and doesnt want to use him, it’s how it is. He had the most PP points since Olympic break before getting yanked off 1st unit…had 7 points in 8 games coming into tonight. If you wanna complain, you’re gonna complain. Can he be better? Should he have come into camp in better shape? Sure, dude. But they punted on his season a long time ago lol…he’s a playmaker playing on the checking line. Not my desire to complain about this anymore…team is in a playoff spot right now if the coach had been optimizing his lineup since October. 63 points in 80 games under Torts putting him in training wheels and some people on this app gave up on a 21 year old, feels like you’re in Crazy Town reading some of these tweets and replies.

Jayson Stark shared a troubling stat about Bryce Harper when he joined @975Unfiltered
"According to Statcast, there are 276 full-time players. Where would you guess that Bryce (Harper) ranks in average exit velocity in that group?.. How about 235th... I get that it is early, but doesn't it feel like that is an accurate depiction of how out of sync he has been?"

Colin Cowherd is chewing up Jalen Hurts and said his teammates don't like him because their jobs are in danger because he is bad.
Tank Bigsby wasn't having it.
I like Tank even more now 💚

A 9-year-old can't sit still in class and we're prescribing amphetamines before checking ferritin.
Let that sit for a second.
Ferritin below 30 ng/mL in children directly impairs dopamine receptor density in the prefrontal cortex. The exact region responsible for attention, impulse control, and task persistence.
That's not ADHD. That's a nutritional deficiency presenting as a behavioral disorder.
Nobody checked.
> Iron-deficient kids show massive symptom overlap with ADHD diagnostic criteria
> Correcting ferritin to 50+ resolves or significantly reduces symptoms in a substantial percentage — without medication
> Most pediatricians never order ferritin. They run a CBC, see hemoglobin is "normal," and move on
A $15 blood test versus a Schedule II controlled substance for a child whose brain is still developing.
And when the medication "works," nobody asks why.
It works because amphetamines force dopamine release regardless of iron status. You didn't fix the problem. You overrode the warning signal.
What to actually do before accepting an ADHD diagnosis:
> Order ferritin specifically (not just CBC). Target 50-80+ ng/mL in kids
> If low — iron bisglycinate (dosed by weight, typically 1-2mg/kg) with vitamin C. Retest in 8-12 weeks
> Check vitamin D. Deficiency impairs attention and mood regulation across all ages. Target 50-70 ng/mL
> Check magnesium RBC (not serum). Magnesium is directly involved in dopamine regulation and calming NMDA receptor activity
> Eliminate artificial food dyes and preservatives. The research on this is not subtle
> Add omega-3s (EPA/DHA). The data on omega-3s and pediatric attention is some of the strongest in nutritional neuroscience
> Stabilize blood sugar. Kids eating cereal and juice for breakfast then expected to focus for 6 hours is insanity
That child's brain was asking for iron.
You gave it speed.
The kid isn't broken. The system that diagnosed him is.
I go deeper into the neuroscience behind this on my Substack. Link in bio.

Can say with confidence Jalen’s body language and communication with teammates and coaches on the sidelines only improved over the course of last season. And it wasn’t bad to begin with.

Liftoff.
The Artemis II mission launched from @NASAKennedy at 6:35pm ET (2235 UTC), propelling four astronauts on a journey around the Moon.
Artemis II will pave the way for future Moon landings, as well as the next giant leap — astronauts on Mars.

I have no issue saying Jalen Hurts needs to improve in certain areas.
But calling him uncoachable while changing his offensive direction 6 of the last 7 years seems a little bit like a PR stunt.
Stay tuned. The timing of this is calculated.

"Kellen Moore had tried to implement new offensive concepts that Hurts did not always embrace, per multiple team sources. One of the sources said they believed the changes concerned motions and shifts, recalling that Hurts was not receptive to the idea."

@JebWilliams @SportsRadioWIP That’s not at all what I was saying. I didn’t say he wasn’t a good player.. I’m just sick of the he’s a great guy, hate that I have to criticize him. It’s dumb af

@llucc10 @SportsRadioWIP I mean, he was very good last year and has been a top utility guy for us ever since we got him. One bad game ain’t much
