The market doesn't owe you clarity. Sometimes the auction is genuinely undecided. Both sides are active. No one has conviction. The best position during that period is no position.

@TheH0n3stTrader love your posts, but you cannot gain an “edge” with someone else’s strategy. you have to develop your own in some form of way. of course you can use others concepts but you gotta personalize it, backtest it and validate it. at least that’s my opinion.

I've made over $700,000 trading. If you're still unprofitable, read this: 1. You don't have to develop your own strategy, you can just copy one.

The prop firm model only works if most traders fail. They have built a business that depends on your failure. And then they sponsor your favourite trading influencer to tell you how great they are.

VAH: Ceiling vs. Conviction VAH isn't a ceiling. It's the last price where sellers felt conviction. Those are different things. One implies rejection. The other implies examination. Make that distinction and half the bad fades go away.

If you're using it as "buy VAL, sell VAH," you're using a map as a crystal ball. It'll disappoint you every time. Learn the mechanics. The levels follow. 7/7

Volume profile is a map of the market's argument. Your job is to figure out whether today's price action is honoring that argument or rejecting it. That's the whole tool. 6/7

Volume profile doesn't predict where price will go. It records where the market spent time and transacted volume. That's a meaningful distinction and most traders skip it. 1/7

Built a prop-firm eval model from scratch. MES. 30-minute opening range breakout. Max 1 trade per day. ~$1k risk to make ~$500. Backtest came in around 69% WR across 297 trades. Then ran 50,000 Monte Carlo simulations against actual prop rules: +$3,000 target -$2,000 fail level Result: around 55% pass probability, with successful attempts usually passing in ~12–16 trading days. Not a holy grail. Just risk geometry + a repeatable edge. Next step: funded payout phase.

my new coded prop strategy pass prop firm accounts at 87% probability. according to top step numbers only 14% of evals get passed🤦 make it make sense
