The real question is not why people are protesting in Chongqing.
The real question is why China still has no animal cruelty law.
If this case had happened in Japan, the abuser would already be under investigation.
The public would not need to gather outside a residence.
The police would not need to spend their time removing protesters.
Having lived in Japan for many years, surely you understand why people expect animal abuse to be investigated rather than ignored.
Before lecturing people about law and order, perhaps it would be wiser to ask why there is still no law against animal cruelty.
A society that ignores animal abuse has no right to lecture others about morality.
China needs animal cruelty laws.

我觉得重庆那些爱狗人士的做法,如果在日本美国或者欧洲早就全被抓起来了。不是社区的业主,绝对没有权利随意进入小区,更无权利聚集在楼道里,不离开。也就是中国,可以这样随意进入私人领地还喊口号。 抗议的话,可以在小区外,这个没问题,小区内属于业主私人领地,非经许可不得入内。 还是先学学法律再去展现爱心吧。 不尊重法律和基本秩序的爱心,一分不值。 警察把这些带离,一点问题都没有。
