@techxcellent @stubarea51 Good advice. I am hoping to get my first customer over the line on v6 deployment. I interpreted Kevin’s comments as the leadership team was pushing but not the engineers - which is the default I see normally.

@localpref_net @stubarea51 What if you deployed IPv6 with the engineers so they’d own it from the beginning, rather than deploy it and then handover to them? The later model always fails and it’s not just an IPv6 thing. It’s a human behaviour thing.

If you had the complete support of management and business stakeholders, what's your biggest challenge in deploying #IPv6?

@SharpNetwork @remarkablepaper Have you tried Paperlike? paperlike.com. I love it and take all my customer meeting notes by hand into GoodNotes. Couldn’t use iPad for writing without it.

I got a @remarkablepaper tablet for Christmas. I like the tactile nature of writing on this much better than my iPad. My biggest complaint is the appearance of notes synced to the desktop app. Image quality is terrible, much worse than exported PDFs.

@SFoskett Case on phone - but I like a very slim one. Pre-camera bump on iPhone I went naked. I’ve always been a naked laptop person. Just switched to a case on a MacBook Air so I could add stickers.

Are you a "phone case" person or a "naked phone" person? How about your laptop? Do you use a laptop case?

@danieldibswe Good luck! I have taken to using a defaulted, stock install on an old laptop. I had karabiner running and fire up for a periodic check midtest. It decided that was not acceptable and terminated the test. Pre validation is good - just let it run for awhile.

Ran the onVue app to test my system for tomorrow. One thing I noticed is that if you run a Privileged Access Management System (PAM), you need to request admin privileges before running the app. Always test your system before the actual test.

@danieldibswe I try to use the first time as a full word. This presumes a linear read through the doc which may not be the case for technical docs. I think a list is unnecessary as long as the are industry terms. If you are using customer or project specific argot, a list could help. +2c

How useful do you think it is to have a section with all the acronyms and abbreviations in a document? Is it enough to type the full word in the text at its first use? How would you use the list of abbrevations? Thinking it might not add as much value as I would have thought.

I finally bought #KeyboardMaestro for macOS. I've been meaning to bring more automation to the Mac for a while but kind of scraped by without it until now. Ultimately it was the #StreamDeck that made me pull the trigger. Any tips from y'all out there?

@Wax_Trax @SharpNetwork I would guess many of us are going through similar transformations. I don’t begin to assume what is driving yours, but I believe generally the pandemic has had a profound impact on personal identity and how we relate to others around us. I know it has for me.

In the last couple years, I’ve experienced what I would previously have described as a prolonged apathy. Now, I’m realizing it may be a season of deep rest and reflection. I’m not sure I’m through it yet but I see glimpses that there may be something on the other side.
