@HighwaysSWEST He has been stuck for 7 hours so far, so I am not sure where 5 hours are worked out? He is still no where near the exit. It’s a shame traffic is not being stopped further up the motorway to help this situation.

The #M5 in #Somerset is closed southbound between J22 #Edithmead and J23 #Puriton due to a traffic collision. All emergency services are on scene dealing. There are currently no delays against expected travel times.

@HighwaysSWEST My husband has been sat on the M5 since 10.30 and is only at sedgemoor! 2.5 hours is not a true reflection at all.

Severe delays in excess of 2 hours 30 minutes on the #M5 southbound between J22 #Edithmead and J23 #Puriton following an earlier incident involving a fuel tanker. Resurfacing and barrier repairs are required. Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey.

@sgloscouncil Why is it free if you have a blue badge? My Nan has a blue badge so we can park closer to places so she doesn’t need to walk so far, nothing to do with she can’t pay for parking or have I totally missed the reason for the badge?

There's been significant flooding in the West after Storm Bert. In Yate last night, large amounts of flood water affected about 100 properties - and residents were evacuated from their homes by emergency services. Fire crews are returning there this morning.

@sgloscouncil Well I think two items in the wrong box is an unacceptable reason not to take any of my recycling. Give it’s allegedly the season of good will and we had months of no recycling collections yet we had to take our recycling waste to the tip without complaint. Poor show!!

@lock_ange It looks like there may be a glass jar in with the glass bottle, so the crew may have rejected it on that basis. You can mix the plastics, cans and aerosols and foil together, but we ask that you keep the cardboard and cartons separate from the plastics and cans. Many thanks CC

@sgloscouncil please tell me what I did wrong? I have put the same things in my recycling for years but today your staff are not interested in taking mine and a number of my neighbours recycling?

@sgloscouncil So to be clear the one bottle of wine being in the wrong container means your staff refuse to take any recycling until I move it to the other container?
