Daily reminder that the ‘Divine Mercy’ devotion was a continuation of a condemned and excommunicated (by St Pius X) satanic sect called the ‘Mariavites’

I renew my invitation for everyone to join me for the Prayer Vigil for Peace, which we will celebrate in St. Peter’s Basilica on Saturday, April 11, at 6:00 PM Rome time. #PrayTogether#Peace
@Neko79@CarloMVigano Fortunately, God the Son, our most blessed Lord Jesus Christ, instituted His Church; the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, on the Rock of Peter.
Feliz porque me regalaron mi primer a Biblia católica en inglés.
Me dicen que es de las mejores
La Biblia de Haydock
Me dicen que es como la de Straubinger por la cantidad y calidad de comentarios.
¿La conocen?
@camidemoncada@PJavierOR The Haydock over the Ignatius, hands down!
Go to the Protoevangelium in Genesis Chap. III Ver. 15, then look up their commentaries. Incomparable!
I returned the Ignatius Bible for that exact reason.
Sticking with the Douay Rheims, a much better teacher.
@SlowpokeCon@MurrayRundus Novus Ordo parishes that have Adoration Chapels with Adoration every day are definitely stronger because of it. But the Latin Mass lifts the soul, heart and mind in a way that the n.o. can not do. It is impoverished. When I come out from TLM it is with a desire to become holy.
Modern liturgy oftentimes devolves into a weird self-flagellation
Terrible music, ritual detached from tradition, and nonsensical things like female altar boys.
Nobody finds this particularly profound, at best it’s “nice” People just go to fulfill their legal Mass obligation
Mary Ann, the issue of Luisa's books being forbidden, in my humble opinion, were in the past which is not the case now. I spoke to my Priest about this issue, in fear of offending Jesus, and some priests may still have this opinion, but Luisa is well on her way of becoming a Saint in the Catholic Church. The Book of Heaven, which his the name Jesus gave her compilation of 36 volumes of writings, are such a gift to us, focusing a lot on repairing for all of humanity's offenses, and learning to live in the Divine Will. Dear soul, Mary Ann, I pray I have not offended you. Thank you for being a wonderful Catholic.
@Elizabe01134208@RosaryQuotes123 Why not Elizabeth?
My dear Dad told me about the Masses that were offered outside in between hedgerows while he was in WWII.
What about the war in the Vendee?
Fr. Javier Olivera Ravasi, a Catholic priest, celebrated the Traditional Latin Mass in front of a Planned Parenthood Abortion Clinic in San Francisco, California.
@honormedal@CanonRobinWard According to Fr. John Hardon, S.J. Luisa's writings are not consistent with magisterial teaching of the Roman Catholic Church. Also, Bishop McDonald of Little Rock, AR forbid the promotion of her books in his Diocese in 1997.
@CanonRobinWard Wonderful news Mr. Ward. I wanted to introduce you to Luisa Piccarreta, who is in the process of becoming a saint. She lived from 1865 to 1947, and wrote down everything Jesus told her. Bedridden. Jesus titled her 36 volumes The Book of Heaven. youtube.com/watch?v=YaJnou…
Tomorrow morning at 7:45, Mary will be going into her first surgery to try to attach her esophagus to her stomach.
If you could offer up a prayer for her, the doctors, and nurses, my wife and I would be grateful.
Choir and altar servers of a parish in the 1940s
This photo was taken at the Parish of the Immaculate Conception in East Germantown (Philadelphia), just minutes before the Christmas Mass in 1941. It’s the altar servers and choir.
Do you know of any parish like this today?
“Unretouched photo taken by the publisher at the funeral of Archbishop Lefebvre. A luminous cross is stands above the coffin.”
(Photo non truquée prise par l’éditeur aux obsèques de Mgr Lefebvre. Une croix lumineuse se dresse au dessus du cercueil.)
@_BattleForTruth You never know with these shots, but what we do know is that this was a saintly man, and cross or no cross above the casket, he was truly loved by Our Lord. This is the French version of his story, it's quite good.

@schmitt4545@Yearns4Heaven Amanda, I was reading the replies, and see you were a sedevacantist. I have a young friend with her family that go to their Latin Mass, saying they can go to their church as non-sedevacantists. She no longer answers any of my calls, and I wondered why?
