@briebriejoy @SocialistMMA Ryan is protecting voters from having an option to vote for her because he cares about ppl hard earned money. Hes doing it for the workers cuz he cares about how they spend their dollar. He cares so much he won’t have her on to prevent ppl from even thinking to vote 4 her.

I think it’s good to do adversarial interviews like this one, and Krystal exposed a lot about why Smith is such a pernicious presence in Congress. What’s odd is Ryan’s insistence that Kshama isn’t a newsworthy figure for an interview, and the failure to mention that Smith is facing a primary challenge from a socialist in a segment about the popularity of socialist politicians. Hopefully that’s just an oversight made during a heated/stressful interview, and they’ll address it on the show later this week.

Warmonger Adam Smith has been invited on Breaking Points to “debate” the DSA’s popularity, but his socialist, anti war, pro-Palestine challenger @cmkshama is excluded because, in Ryan Grim’s words, she isn’t “newsworthy.” Kshama was the first socialist to sit on the Seattle city council since 1877, and in that role, won the fight for $15. Meanwhile, Smith is the Zionist ranking member of the Armed Services Committee, who only backed down off his support of the Israel/US Military tech merger bc of pressure from Kshama in this race. Smith was rude, dismissive, & prevaricating in response to Krystal's questioning. He holds the racist & contradictory beliefs that Israel should only exist as a Jewish supremacist state, & that no democracy can exist if Arabs have equal rights. He also admitted that while he would vote to remove section 224 from the NDAA, he wouldn't vote against the NDAA if his effort to remove 224 failed. (He also objected to Krystal's accurate characterization of section 224 as allowing the merging of Israel's military intelligence with the US's, revealing his true sympathy for the bill). At no point during this discussion of the "left" did anyone feel like it was worth informing the audience that establishment corporatist warmongering Smith is facing a primary challenge on August 4th. The Breaking Points audience has to look elsewhere for coverage of that race.

🚨🇦🇷 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: The real reason behind Argentina’s emotional collapse before the final was Messi announcing to his teammates that it would be his last game for the national team. Maradona was right when he said Messi had no personality and was no leader.

England are so entitled, even though they've won nothing for 60 years, the 3rd place playoff will be beneath them and they won't be switched on. France to win comfortably. Mark me.

Yes, we know you don’t investigate, report on, or even consider censorship of the left. You’ve made that very clear. It’s more important to write articles about how Bari Weiss’ critics are “jealous losers,” actually, and tweeting bravely about how no one can make you call Gaza a genocide against your will.
Matt Taibbi@mtaibbi

I told you repeatedly I didn’t look for censorship of the left or right. We ran names of people from FBI and DHS as they came up, and what came back, came back. I’ve written extensively about FBI abuses in the past - and you still haven’t apologized for your many errors about me.

@Tim_Vickery Tooney, rashford were brought in for just that. They still couldn’t retain possession because Arg was full press. England were just a level below. They are not Spain.

Seeing a lot about complexities and mentality, but for me it comes down to a basic concept; The man without the ball makes the play And so if there is no one moving into position, there is no play. And England's bench was full of players who could have been the option

one funny thing about getting older is seeing people confidently describe stuff you were around for in completely wrong ways...maradona was a complete disaster as a coach for argentina and messi specifically
Sriram@SriramMadras

IMAGINE having Maradona as your coach. Messi was coached by Maradona when he was between 21 and 23 years old, creating one of the most romantic and cinematic storylines in football history. The iconic number 10 shirt was officially handed to Messi by Maradona himself in 2009.
