Two #HamOnt Mayoral candidates are saying they won't raise taxes to meet the on-coming shortfalls, they'd rather cut services further. So, streets not getting fixed, rec centres not open.

So many screwed up changes by @SouthwestAir The worst may be moving to boarding groups. Having a specific boarding order is so much less stressful than groups. They didn't realize what they were losing. Even if they moved to assigned seats they should have kept assigned boarding order.

#HL7 Ballot Desktop is where you join a ballot consensus group aligned to a specific ballot level (Normative, Informative, STU/Update, or For Comment), helping an open standards community balance strong consensus for “binding” decisions. #FHIR #Interoperability #HealthIT

@CBCHamilton Oh good. I was starting to miss Terry Whitehead's antics. It's good that we have a replacement

@JeffreyLuscombe They do talk about the downgrade: "S&P’s report notes that the change from ‘AAA’ to ‘AA+’ follows delays in completing audited financial statements due to a serious cyberattack in 2024, which temporarily disrupted parts of the City’s data and financial systems."

Wait a minute. Yesterday’s they downgraded Hamilton’s credit rating from AAA to AA+ and the city is celebrating with this release?? The chocolate rations were also increased from 30 to 20 grams as well. #hamont
City of Hamilton@cityofhamilton

The City of Hamilton has received a ‘AA+’ credit rating from S&P Global Ratings, reflecting the City’s continued fiscal discipline and a diversified economy that supports long-term stability. Release>> hamilton.ca/city-council/n… #HamOnt

4. New TEFCA SOP for Government Benefits Determination The RCE released the draft SOP for the government benefits determination use case. Basically this is designed specifically so that the Social Security Administration can pull special CDAs for determining benefits eligibility for disability cases. It technically supports other government benefits but only the SSA is a required response. I would love to see required responses expanded to other use cases, like VA pensions and disability compensation, state workers’ comp and disability boards, or more exotic ones like my FAA use case.

@radleyatthespec Is it growing? Or is a faction just getting louder? The former council was so afraid, they let taxes fall way behind inflation. We're just getting caught up.
