This is when my empathy for trans-identifying men died. When: I got piled on for saying men in female toilets is an issue of safety/hygiene I realised activists were for intact male, often violent, criminals to be housed in female jails

*yawn* I also said the usual about sex-based risk all males possess, didn't make a dent. They instead made the Brazilian prostitute argument and called governmental data fake.

Just like women having spaces from ordinary men isn't hate/monstering men it isn't for women to have spaces away from men that don't identify as male.

Believe that men can transition into women whatever you like, still you can’t transition the male out of them.

@stuey_beef Women + girls needing female-only spaces for safeguarding/equality purposes is not a niche issue. It is a luxury beleif of the political elite that if a male identifies with the sex-stereotypes/gender roles applied to females, & he performs them, he then becomes a sort of woman.

Duncan Bannatyne backing away from Andy Burnham tells you something important. This is not some niche online row. This is where Labour’s problem with normal voters becomes impossible to hide. Burnham has spent years cultivating the image of a straight-talking, sensible, working-class Labour figure. Less Westminster. More real world. A politician who “gets it”. Then he backs self-ID and questions guidance protecting women’s toilets for biological women. That is the dividing line. Because for millions of people, this is not complicated. Women’s toilets are for women. Female-only spaces exist for a reason. Privacy matters. Boundaries matter. Biology matters. Labour politicians keep pretending this is an obscure culture-war trap. It isn’t. It is a basic test of whether they can say something true when activists are watching. Burnham failed that test. And if he cannot defend women’s spaces without equivocation, why should anyone believe he has the courage to lead the country?

@GoSuckADixk @luanmahi @maleexclusionte Your claim also comes from studies on trans male Brazilian prostitutes, they also face that risk from their fellow men on the basis of sex. Doesn't means they face the same risk as women, doesn't remove risk they pose to women in our spaces or impact inclusion has on ♀️autonomy

Men who are, by the way, often quite belligerent and even aggressive when women try to explain why they can't 'identify' into the class of female/as a woman.

In the UK 2-3 women a week die as a result of MVAWG - Male Violence Against Women and Girls (which is risk on the margins of sex). We should not inviting risk into women's spaces by including a group of men - transgender males - into them. #GenderCritical

Risk of MVAWG as well as sexual assault + impact on privacy, dignity and right to assembly as females is enough. They're male, they need to leave it alone.

@GoSuckADixk @luanmahi @maleexclusionte Actually any woman that advocates against male intrusion on female spaces and rights on here is met with that same level of aggression. The dynamic is also different, a male being aggressive to a woman poses a real threat to her life - a woman doesn't based on anatomy.

What I said in last post comes from gov data in the UK + abroad. Facts don't care about your feelings nor your opinion.
