A little intro to me, the guy behind @logoarchive@logoarchive.now
I’m Rich @richardbranson , a writer, curator, and founder working across branding, publishing, and design culture. I run @bpandopinion a long-running platform dedicated to sharing opinion on brand identity and visual culture, alongside @logoarchive , an ongoing exploration of historical logos and the stories, and aesthetics behind them. I’m also building @brandarchivexyz a site dedicated to brand systems and @portaltoxyz , a new platform connecting design-led companies with talented creative people through a more considered and community-driven approach to hiring.
A lot of what I do sits between research, storytelling, and observation. I’m interested in how brands communicate meaning over time, how design reflects culture, and why certain symbols continue to resonate decades later. My work often explores the intersection of history, identity, publishing, and contemporary visual language, with a particular love for archives, overlooked details, and the emotional side of design.
Outside of projects, I’m usually reading, collecting references, walking through London, sitting in coffee shops thinking too much, or having long conversations about creativity.
So many added this week, more added everyday. Drop me a comment if you see your work!!
Still getting through hundreds of tagged images and DMs! Please be patient…and kind 🫣
