A simple, 'boring' life may not look cool, but it lets your heart rest. And that, in the end, is everything...

If you want to push back against tech's encroachment into every corner of our lives, you have to read books. They're eager to create a future in which most people are illiterate and hooked on slop, a world without imagination or knowledge. Reading is resistance.

Comparisons to the works of Tarantino are going to be inevitable with this type of cinematography, score, editing, and dark humor, but this film is its own animal. Visually arresting and intriguing storytelling, and you can figure out what's going on even if your French is rusty!
