I had a buddy ask me this prior to the game yesterday “Is Jefferson the last guy you would’ve wanted to get hurt?” My answer was honestly Momcilovic would’ve been the worst because of how much attention he requires from a defense at all times and especially with how much off ball action we run for him you’ve got to have multiple sets of eyes on him at all times. Curious on your guys thoughts?

It's remarkable how complicated this conference makes things sometimes. Five names, not 10, belong on the All Big 12 first team. Those five names should be AJ Dybantsa, JT Toppin, Kingston Flemings, Darryn Peterson, and Brayden Burries. See how easy that was?

@istudiedtrees @_AlexGookin when you have an entirely new team with essentially no continuity at all you NEED veteran leadership at QB. This is not the year to thrust someone with no experience out there. Also, most of these offensive guys transferred to play w Raynor. He was one of our first commits.

@_AlexGookin I would think the difference between 51 and 64 wouldn’t be that wide. Is what it is, hope he does well but having a starting QB for the next three years seems better than a portal one and done.

Raynor listed 51st out of 68 P4 QBs and 12th out of 16 Big 12 QBs. Will be interesting to see how high his ceiling is with the brand new offense, but I think it's fair to have the floor pretty low, too.
