@overrated_sec It’s because they beat themselves up week in and week out with the professional teams they play against in the sec. All the other teams in the country wouldn’t understand.

@kjwithafumanchu Well when I brought up last year’s non-CFP bowl season I was told they didn’t count because of opt outs so I’m trying to find the only ones that count per my Chanter friends.

@overrated_sec Simple question: Do non-CFP bowls matter? Or do they only matter if it makes the SEC look bad? Cause I distinctively remember we were told that neither UGA’s win vs FSU, Mizzou’s win vs Ohio St, & Ole Miss’ win vs PSU in 2023 bowls weren’t legit because of opt outs & injuries 🤷🏻♂️

@overrated_sec In fairness, Texas and Oklahoma are new to the SEC by historical measures. I will say though that the fact they were able to be immediately successful in the SEC is a sign of something SEC fans won’t want to admit.

Bowl games don’t count because of opt outs and bad results.
CFP doesn’t matter because it’s all about depth now.
OOC games don’t matter because SEC teams are so tired from their grueling SEC schedule (according to preseason polls).
Draft picks and recruiting rankings are EVERYTHING. More important than Kentucky losing 41-0 to Louisville and Arkansas losing 56-13 to Notre Dame.

@overrated_sec They just keep saying it because everyone knows if you say it enough it will become true. @espn is a joke of a network & I only watch it if I absolutely HAVE TO, like @CFBPlayoff games because we have no choice. I actually listened to the radio broadcasts more than TV. ESPN sucks
