@HughesHaili Love it! Two of mine got married a few years ago. I felt like Cilla Black 😂

Seating plans are really important...7.5 years ago, I sat two students next to each other in my English class and they've just messaged me to tell me they've just got engaged 😭

It is with deep and profound sadness that West Ham United confirm the tragic passing of our U15s Academy goalkeeper Oscar Fairs, following his brave battle with cancer. Rest in peace, brave Oscar.

@UCdangraham @jamiespangher Women’s football surely a growth market. Do things right by women’s teams and from a business point of view, it’s a win. The only way they can increase profit from men’s is extortionate ticket price rises. More opportunity for growth with women’s teams

@jamiespangher Open the books and show me how the men's team makes 800m in profit, sure that may be the incoming money, but it almost assuredly doesn't cover the outgoing(player's salary, stadium upkeep and gameday expenses, etc)

@justkuda @ajabbaruk Seriously. ‘Are you being held against your will? Blink once for yes, twice for no.’ Surely he isn’t afraid of being fired for speaking his mind: it’s clear that SJR pays zero attention to women’s team and probably wouldn’t notice a huge rant by MS or anyone else

@FayeGriffiths8 I think most people did. Some had them in the loft. I remember an ex renting a terrible house in Longsight and to turn the immersion on you had to actually go into the loft! I still feel it’s a luxury at my house to turn on the tap and there is hot water and no waiting!

OK, weird request. In my childhood home, we had a heater in the bathroom and it was covered with red padding. It was quite big. I feel it may have been a feature of older houses. Does anyone know the name of that type of heater? (It's for a piece of writing -I'm not just bored!)

@Zoblobania @Inevitablewest Where you pay for car parking with cash or bank card. The incident was around the car park area I believe. It certainly isn’t a scanning machine

@greeborunner @tstarkey1212 Forcing the issue can put them off. My sister was like that. Started to enjoy reading at age 30ish. She is now catching up on loads of classic stuff.

@tstarkey1212 It's a lovely aim but we can't make anyone love anything. We need to teach them to do it, spend lots of time sharing excellent stories, practice a lot and provide access to books. Some will love it. Some won't. We need to ensure we're not chasing the impossible. We're busy enough

@KathrynBatte @NathSalt1 Is it me or does it seem that these guys never make this kind of derogatory comments regarding men? Again, it’s possible and if so then there must be video of them doing so…pretty easy to find out, eh! Childish for sure….

@DeputyGrocott I lost my sense of smell with covid in 2021. It took about two weeks to come back but floral smells took a bit longer. If it’s ale you are drinking, some of the more floral tastes might be what’s missing

@DeputyGrocott I had exactly the same thing. I noticed this week that I could barely smell some perfume but my friend could. It was about 3 weeks ago. I lost my voice and had a cold that wasn’t a cold for ages. Voice thing a month ago. I then got a snotty cold after.

A few weeks ago I was ill, firstly with an upset stomach then I had a cold that wasn’t a cold but I lost my voice. Ever since then my beer hasn’t quite tasted the same.Could it have been covid you think? We’re talking a month later and I’m not getting the same love for my drink
