Most projects/achievements aren't "proof of work/competence". I can copy paste cool projects without knowing shit. What easily counts as proof: - Current company + tenure + promotions - College All these are hard to fake and are signals for "safe hire".

@SMSarwar47 @samirande_ Once you start working professionally you don’t get time to build side projects. So you won’t find a lot of great projects in top engineers portfolio. If you look at this guy’s resume, he’s already working at Intuit which itself is a top level org. So I don’t doubt his skills.

@pranvv27 @SMSarwar47 Also look at the dudes work experience. Intuit and Nokia are both very good companies to work for. Recruiter looked at those first and knew he was the real deal. Projects were just fluff to make the resume look like it has more on it here lol
