@LalitKModi @KP24 @IPL Though there is plenty of top football young talent that goes to big premier league clubs and don’t get to play who actually regress and go backwards. Just because something is lucrative doesn’t mean it produces the best talent.

Yes listen to my friend @KP24 - @ipl is the ONLY place for all cricket players to shine and you are sitting with the best in the world. Where else will you get that opportunity. If a player makes it into an ipl team squad - then there is no looking back. It’s similar for a football ⚽️ player making it into a top @premierleague squad.

@KP24 It’s a legitimate opinion whether Cook has drinks experience at the IPL or not. Bethell needed more match practice last year he admitted it himself. You complain about the quality of the cc but it’s those tournaments that are taking the talent & forcing white ball cricket on us.

Bad decision. That others will follow if it works And best (only) marketing tool county cricket has will disappear. IMO 🏏 actually has a big advantage having an established 'home' on YouTube Ubitquity, sharability, community, clips etc (LTV - Free for members, £20 non-mem)

Cricket seems awash with elitism at present. Test cricket revolves around the big 3, county cricket going the way of Hundred hosting counties, the media full of kids from public schools and our national side behind a pay wall so kids from certain backgrounds don't get to watch.
