@YuvrajS9258 @SakaarS The movie is very serious. To a fault. The characters have zero personality. But damn it’s a work of art. The manga isn’t as comedic as people are saying. Some funny faces but the philosophy and subject material is just as serious. The characters just have personality.

This comes from that infamous scene from the manga. The scene was censored from most releases overseas. While it was an explicit scene it wasn't censored for that reason imo. Dark Horse published the works of Johji Manabe without such censorship. Motoko is bisexual. In the manga she has a boyfriend as well. Such content was heavily being censored at the time. It does look like we're losing the net personas tho. No redhead Motoko for now.
