A lot of ppl often undervalue play finishers and when a play finisher is clearly an elite offensive player those same ppl need to make up how they are scoring to make sense of how good the are They did this with AD and are did it this season with wemby, wemby IS a play finisher

@MarzTalksSports I think “help” is one of those words thrown around in discourse that’s not always meant to be taken literally. I think most rational people understand those Cavs teams were consistently good defensively but when they say “no help” they’re referring to them being bad offensively.

A healthy Zion in San Antonio would break basketball. His slashing alongside Wemby’s off-ball pressure? You simply aren’t getting stops. Not to mention that his size in the front-court would also give them another option for post-up players/mismatch attackers like KAT.
PMM@pmmbasketball

AG was a bust in orlando until 25 he was called in defensively to save the generational 1 way center jokic wemby is a generational defensive center in need of offensive help its time to call in the bust the save wembys career offensively he’s also 25 ready to be freed

@francistennn This is simply considering scoring possessions in isolation not ones that end with an assist correct? Regardless I doubt it’s much higher if assists were to be factored

Am I the only one that sees an inefficient scorer in Kingston Flemings once he gets to the league?? I feel like his projection is banking heavily that he becomes a good defender and a good shooter but with the volume and how his shot looks I just don’t have a lot of faith…

@LegionHoops Wemby dropping empty stats on a team down 3-2 with no ring. 29/10 sounds cute until you remember the Knicks are punking him on switches and he’s disappearing in 4th quarters. “First Finals” is cope. Real stars close.

Victor Wembanyama is averaging 29 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks, and 1.7 steals per game this series. But, all you’ll see is he’s being “dominated” in these NBA Finals. The unfair standards fans hold him to is the problem with NBA discourse. Wemby is having a terrific first Finals series at 22-years-old, and he and the Spurs are one win away from flipping the entire script, but everyone is quick to focus on his negatives. Show some respect.

@TheCollinDunks I think that AJ has shown a greater propensity for actually making those rougher shots, plus w his stride length he should be able to blow by ppl much easier than poalo, with that said I haven’t seen him blow by alot of guys in the film I’ve watched…

@TheCollinDunks I think the weight made him more dynamic as offensive player, better post player, better rebounder, more utility as a screener and middle of the floor player but it depends on where u thought he could have been as a perimeter initiator
