@Niklander3 Because chances are whatever new mechanics they come up with probably aren’t going to be as good, satisfying, or addictive as Arkham. Like it or not, we’re kind of stuck with Arkham till devs come up with a new generational gameplay formula.

Here's a novel idea.
Why not just make a new Batman game and leave the Arkham era behind us?
We have developers that can create a new combat/stealth mechanics the character has been around for 87 years that you can come up with a new story for the Dark Knight for a new game

It’s time WB Games. It’s time to bring back Arkham. Arkham Beyond, a Damian Wayne focused title, a new trilogy taking place between Origins and Asylum with Roger Craig Smith.. SOMETHING. There’s no reason to leave this series on the shelf. No hero has more motion than the Bat, and there’s a lot of story left to tell for the character. We saw FOUR NIGHTS of a 12 year career. There’s something to explore in there I’m sure. Oh and remaster Origins while we’re at it. That game deserves to be played on modern hardware.

@Dom_2k Between the talent they already have on the roster and their draft capital, they could deadass get bored and tear the team down and rebuild it into contender like 5 times just for shits and giggles before they run out of resources. Maybe Golden State wasn’t that bad.

@daexlin @konfessionmk Ever since the 3D era, effort has been made to provide a robust single-player experience as well, though. As such, both the competitive and single-player aspects could be called important.

@Saenoki_Naho @konfessionmk That’s another bad arguing point that I’ve seen floating around. The fact that MK9 is playable on modern systems is irrelevant because anybody who’s played it and played the games we’ve gotten since knows how dated it is by modern standards.

clyde is weirdly underrated. list of point guards to be the best player on a title team is short and he’s on it. an all-time game 7, played on the biggest stage, great defender, cool as all outdoors, one of the first big guards and often left off lists. makes no sense.
