@CRan3060 @NBA__Courtside The amount of yall that are turning this into a “let’s shit on LeBron and talk about why he’s not the GOAT because MJ better” thing are actively proving my point. Yall so deep into the toxicity the actual point I made went right over yall heads.

@daexlin @NBA__Courtside Lebron is not some victim in this. Lebron called himself the GOAT. These are the consequences that come with that.

Paul Pierce says LeBron James has made being the GOAT unattainable now: “Because like when you look at it, he put a wall in front of Jordan. You know what I’m saying? Because to like be the GOAT, that means you have to be better then LeBron. Nobody’s going to be better. Like, if Wemby won six championships, you going to be like, well, he’s not better than Bron because Bron statistically, it’s just so much better than everybody. So, he’s created this barrier around Jordan.” (Via @NFGShow)

Paul Pierce on why LeBron James is still playing basketball: “I think he loves it. I mean he takes care of his body like nobody else. I mean, he’s been a blueprint for a lot of this generation on how to take care of your body. And when your spending that amount of money on being ready to play and being healthy, that’s love because I started doing a lot of things he did towards the end because I didn’t know a lot of stuff either. I mean the weights was there but you know, you didn’t know about the cold tubs and stuff started coming in. Like, more and more mandatory to where they were putting the ice baths in the facilities. They weren’t there when I first got to the league. You know we had a jacuzzi. You got to just turn the jacuzzi off, throw ice in there. But and then again, even if LeBron wins a championship this year and if he wins another one and he gets to six rings, if we consider LeBron behind Jordan, if LeBron wins two more rings with the Lakers, I think you still couldn’t put him ahead of Jordan.” (Via @NFGShow)

@silva_devs @MarzTalksSports Also don’t know if he’s a good enough jump shooter, overall there’s just lots of question marks with Wemby offensively and I do think it’ll boil down him having to prioritise either interior or perimeter play, having this mythical blend of both probably just isn’t feasible.

@silva_devs @MarzTalksSports And then in terms of his perimeter game he’ll probably be susceptible to some oof the ball handling limitations that a guy like KD has just because he’s too tall and might have issues with smaller players getting up under him like Dirk did at one point.

@ChrisCon1324 @Jnrhal_85 @NBA__Courtside I just don’t want that for Wemby because it sucks that you’re whole career and all your hard work can be shitted on because a large group of people have an unhealthy obsession with one player or can’t let go of the past.

@ChrisCon1324 @Jnrhal_85 @NBA__Courtside Never said anybody has to unanimously agree he’s the goat. But when so many people say dumb shit about his career and his ability that is variably incorrect through footage, statistics, common sense they are literally ignoring his talent and lying about it.

@ChrisCon1324 @Jnrhal_85 @NBA__Courtside I don’t agree with alot of what you just said but don’t feel like going down the rabbit hole of debunking it because for you to even come to these conclusions means you’re already in a frame of mind that’s just isn’t going to be swayed by logic, reason, or objectivity.

@daexlin @Jnrhal_85 @NBA__Courtside Well tell that to LeBron fans, cuz what you see now from Jordan fans are what LeBron fans do to everyone. It’s gonna happen. IMO the goat debate is dumb. I engage from time to time but it’s because people try to say lebrons longevity stats trump any and everything

@theBillBroadway @NBA__Courtside I don’t make narratives. You can disagree with what I’m saying but you’re currently on an app that has mountains of evidence to support what I’m saying, I didn’t just make this shit up.

@daexlin @NBA__Courtside And like I said before; you must be new here because this has been a thing in sports for decades. It’s literally nothing new. Nothing. Stop worrying about hey what the other guy thinks.

@Finding1_1Tingz @NBA__Courtside They were damn near calling him the goat before he actually won anything. The standard didn’t exist before him, it’s bullshit and always has been and there’s articles 59 support this, so you can keep saying what you think happened but we have the record of what actually happened

@Finding1_1Tingz @NBA__Courtside You can say it but it doesn’t make it true there’s articles of him being called the greatest in 1991, 1992 before he had majority of the things yall are now using as the definitive criteria, before he met the standard of alot of player who came before him.

@jcsIII7980 @NBA__Courtside No he wasn’t he was being called the goat with less stats, championship, and accolades than those who came before him. The standard didn’t exist until after him.
