My plan was to buy a Macbook Pro with 32 GB ram, and 1TB SSD as an upgrade over my M1 air 8/256. It would me more like a laptop, you buy once and forget. Now after the price hikes, (which are even more aggressive towards flagship), this fills me with so much regret I can't explain. It was already difficult to convince parents of such massive spend + this price hike has made it nearly impossible. I was ready to invest my whole intern savings on it, man :(

I paid ₹2,93,000 for a 14" Macbook Pro with M5 Pro, 48gb RAM and 1TB of storage. 2 months later, same spec is ₹3,75,000. ₹82,000, that's around 30% increase.
