There's a foreign language movie I watched as a teenager called Malena starring Monica Belluci. She's a woman whose husband is assumed dead during the war and she's basically sexually harassed by the men of the city who all want her and women who hate her for her beauty.
She can't find work, nobody will help her and she's taken sexual advantage of by the men in town.
She eventually has to start sexual relationships with occupying soldiers (N*zis) in order to feed herself and stay alive and when the war is over, the women attack her in the town square and cut off her hair as a humiliating ritual in front of all their husbands who all desired her.
It's always stayed with me.

@kylebuchanan I've been to a number of amateur productions of "Noises Off!" where the director forces the audience to stay in their seats and watch the stage crew turn the set around in-between acts. It's classless at that level, and about ten-fold so at an international film festival.

Our tribal name literally translates to "sons of the blade", and yet we have been stripped of our birthright to carry one in our own ancestral homeland. Our ancestors are rolling in their graves that their descendants have been turned into slaves (for in their/our culture, being unarmed is a sign of enslavement). Reviving this ancient rite must be one of the outcomes of our tribal awakening, to honour our ancestors. More blades on British streets, not less!
