@elizjameswrites ORF is Oral Reading Fluency. How many words read/how many words correct=accuracy. Retell is how many facts child remembers from the reading passage. Maze is choosing the best word to fit in a sentence from 3 words. Hope this helps some. Definitely ask your child's teacher.

It's a pure numbers game: YOU DO NOT NEED TO LEAVE A LONG REVIEW FOR IT TO COUNT. Give it 5 stars, type "Loved it!" in the box, and you're done. The algorithm is appeased. So I ask, sincerely, what is it going to take to get us to get in the habit of leaving reviews? Thoughts?

What can we do to change the culture of KidLit to make leaving Amazon reviews second nature to us? It's not enough to shout a book out on Twitter. Even Goodreads reviews are often preaching to the choir. But Amazon reviews? Those DIRECTLY impact sales more than anything.
