@b3havi0ur I think the perverted aspect needs to be integrated in a versatile way, a lot of amazing artists channel their talent solely into porn, but can't translate that same intense passion into a story or a character for example that could appeal to the average person I guess.

The closest they ever had was Yuji Naka, who SEGA treated like crap, he was the one behind 06's direction in terms of it being grittier, he was quoted saying he was inspired by Sam Raimi's Spider-Man films, but then he left because the team was again being treated like shit.

The Sonic franchise has never had a singular person with a clear vision spear heading. Nearly every game has a new director or shuffles staff, they don't even have a consultant like Miyamoto, or Eiji Aonuma who are always there to keep core values in tact.
