I have a wedge of wood on my patio table that the tree loppers left behind. I've used it to hold down the pages of my note pad, and propped my phone on it. Early tool making. I think if I applied myself I could find a long thin stick to retrieve ants from their nest.

@aro_no_sekai As an Australian living overseas 20 plus years ago I was getting the equivalent of $75AUD for a 3/4 hour. So yes, $25 is a rip off or mates rates.

Australia is the easiest country to conquer. It has a tiny population and puny military with a long undefendable coastline. A foreign force can gain local air superiority and set up a temporary harbor to offload massive amount of forces, if done far away from populated centers, then Australia won't have any weapon with a long enough range to respond. The long distance would also hamper any reinforcement and redeployment, especially if the air is contested.
