Also: I met David Malukas at the Indy 500. He was stoked to be there despite being injured. He handed me (a stranger) a ticket and said “Let’s go to turn one for the start!” We jogged to make it. We had a blast.

We live in a world and culture where bullying and exclusion is too often used as humor, and it’s unfortunate to see Daniel Dye use homophobia as a (very random?) punchline here.
Behavior like this only hurts people. NASCAR made the right call with the suspension.
