@scubaman2010 @diddlydids As far as I can tell there are two basic arguments. 1. We already have a ton of ID, why one more? 2. It's potentially or likely being created and managed by the 'Tech Bros' possibly even Palantir, so it's an outside data harvesting group.

Why is there a problem with electronic ID? Only curious as don’t understand not looking for an argument. We’ve had it for years I can view all my medical history etc we’ve also had a physical ID for ever, can even travel within the EU with no passport.
