@Nobleshield Mount and Blade Warband and Bannerlord are exactly that, I like Warband more. And there's a bunch of mods that add stuff like new armors and weapons, map, locations, units etc best one being Pendor.

Man, all I want is a good single-player fantasy/medieval RPG where you're like a regular adventurer or something (no named character with a story, however much you can ignore it), character creation of some kind (or similar system), no souls-like or parry/timing combat, no survival junk, no MMORPG stuff. Just a mercenary adventurer exploring and doing quests that you come across, or like finding a dungeon or something and deciding to explore.
Crazy this doesn't exist?

Subnautica 2 does not allow players to kill fish or other sea creatures using weapons or tools. Unknown Worlds developers have confirmed no plans to add lethal combat mechanics in future patches. Gameplay design lead Anthony Gallegos explained the game’s philosophy: “The tone of the game we’re making is that you are here to exist on this planet, not to dominate it. You’re not the conquering colonist here. The goal here is not for you to master the world and bend it to your will.” Players can still capture small fish for cooking. Defense relies only on tools like flares to distract predators and the multitool to repel creatures. The studio is improving these non-lethal options in response to feedback but won’t add lethal tools. Developers view this as core to the game’s identity and are not planning a combat-heavy experience.

In 1 and Sub-Zero, you are a regular human, while in this game, you are a reprinted human relying on adaptations in a new environment, one which has a perpetual virus spreading to all creatures in the game.

Since quitting weed I’ve noticed better sleep, more confidence, no anxiety, and dramatically improved mental acuity.
It was honestly one of the hardest addictions for me to beat, and looking back, it may have been the biggest net negative in my life. Crazy to say, but it’s true.
