@throwbackgaylor happy birthday and thank you so so so much for the work you do and the archive you’ve created
this is quite genuinely queer history & queer resistance 🫀🏳️🌈

@tastykacey14 thus, representatives get to be called congressman/woman when in the house performing official business because while not the only ones to be members of congress, they are RARELY with senators that are also members who could object, and they already have their own term
@lostboyjames13 Exactly!!
I read “queer images” recently and it really just highlights how we have ALWAYS searched for our selves in art and media. And have often identified queers through that art.
It is a big part of our culture. To be demonized for it is homophobic
I don’t believe that Taylor isn’t online at all. She has been chronically online since day one. No one who used to post on 4chan just walks away from the internet entirely.
It is also plausible deniability.
She HAS to know the bullshit we say on here.
@tsacademics beautifully said and this last tweet sums it up perfectly
queers have speculated to find each other or find community always, and many times, questions have been left unanswered
queer speculation is queer resistance
maybe the real prize is the friends we made along the way
And I’m okay with that, because more than anything, I enjoy the analysis of it all.
The symbolism. The cultural references. The poetry.
That’s my bread and butter. And I will read the gay in everything, as queers have done for forever. I’m here for the ride. A pawn in the game.
