Animals Lost and found in Kent Ltd

#Cat owners in #England 's Kent county are worried and perplexed as unknown strangers shave their pets, leaving them with exposed skin. The issue has been described as "weird" and "unsettling."

First day back in Parliament yesterday spoke in debate on #Cats calling for Government to amend legislation in Road Traffic Act 1988 to include cats, with regards to stoping & reporting after an accident as is case with dogs, previously put forward private members bill on this.

Our dog warden is teaming up with the team at @lostfoundkent to host a free microchipping event in Minster. They will be at K9 Nanny Dog & Cat Grooming, Minster, on Tuesday 5 July, 11am - 2pm. There's no need to book, just show up with your cat and/or dog.

We appear to have adopted a #Medway Police Station cat. No matter how many times he is escorted out of the building he returns to stalk the Christmas biscuits. No chip but clearly well cared for if anyone is missing this little fella? @MedwayCSP SH

It was a real pleasure to visit @lostfoundkent in Gillingham & thank them for their fantastic work rescuing animals. Was also good to hear from them on the issue of dog ear cropping, an issue raised with me by local vet Lyn, which I will take up in @UKParliament.
