I’m going to make a complaint about this judge to the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office for his inappropriate conduct towards the convicted, namely being overly sympathetic to them which clearly affected the unduly lenient sentence he passed. complaints.judicialconduct.gov.uk

It's really important that we don't use soft language to make things more 'palatable' or less 'alarmist'. What the UK government is currently committed to is a programme of social murder against both trans people and disabled people. And we need to name it for what it is.

While there are meaningful conversations to have about gender, people with a UK gender recognition certificate, who have gone through hoops to “prove” their gender, deserve to be protected. In addition to stripping trans people of their civil rights and basic dignity, the frenzy of this is sure to create a hostile, dangerous environment for trans people. Sentencing Judge is Judge Nicholas Rowland. Date of sentence: "21 / 05 / 2026" and "within the past 28 days" Crown Court where this sentence was issued: "Southampton" Which offence(s) was the sentence given for?: "Rape, and Taking and Possessing Indecent Images" Why do you think the sentence is unduly lenient?: Insert your own answer, and do not use profanity no matter how upset you are. Mine was: The crimes here are violent crimes that have destroyed the lives of the victims, at least one of which is now suicidal and the sentence is not remotely proportional to the severity of the crime. Additionally, the Judge's comments seem to indicate a bias in favour of the convicted, as he offers up justifications for their behaviour such as being low IQ. These crimes were not spontaneous, they were premeditated and planned. They were also filmed. So we know what happened, and we know that they were intelligent enough to plan and execute the luring and entrapment of their victims, which does not indicate that they were the kind of simpletons the Judge suggests. If they had the capacity to plan the crimes in advance, then they have the capacity to be held criminally responsible for those actions.
